Butterflai supports both traditional password-based authentication and Google Single Sign-On (SSO). This section explains how to manage your sign-in credentials.
Changing your password
Navigate to Settings > My Profile.
Locate the password section.
Enter your current password.
Enter your new password and confirm it.
Click Save.
Your new password takes effect immediately. Any other active sessions will continue until they expire.
Password requirements
Your password must meet the following criteria:
At least 8 characters long
Contains at least one uppercase letter
Contains at least one lowercase letter
Contains at least one number
Contains at least one special character
Choose a strong, unique password that you do not use for other services.
Google SSO sign-in
If your organization uses Google Workspace, you can sign in with your Google account:
On the login page, click Sign in with Google.
Select your Google account or enter your Google credentials.
You will be authenticated and redirected to Butterflai.
Google SSO simplifies access and leverages your organization's existing Google security policies (including two-factor authentication if enabled).
Forgot password flow
If you cannot remember your password:
On the login page, click Forgot Password.
Enter the email address associated with your account.
Check your inbox for a password reset email.
Click the link in the email and set a new password.
The reset link expires after a limited time for security. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact your administrator.
