Managing Users

Updated today

Butterflai gives you a clear, centralized view of everyone on your team. From a single screen you can see who has access, what role they hold, and whether they are active.

Accessing the user list

Navigate to Settings > User Management. You will see a table listing every user in your organization with the following columns:

  • Name -- The user's full name.

  • Email -- The email address used to sign up or accept an invitation.

  • Role(s) -- The role (or roles) assigned to the user, such as Admin or Member.

  • Status -- The user's current account status.

User statuses

Each user has one of four statuses:

Status

Meaning

Active

The user has been approved and can log in and use the platform.

Pending

The user has registered or been invited but has not yet been approved by an administrator.

Inactive

The user's account has been deactivated. They cannot log in, but their data is preserved.

Rejected

An administrator has declined the user's registration request. They cannot access the platform.

Searching for users

Use the search field at the top of the user list to filter by name. This is helpful when your team grows and you need to find a specific person quickly.

What you can do from this screen

From the user list you can approve pending users, deactivate active users, reactivate inactive accounts, and change role assignments. Each of these actions is covered in detail in this article
