The Meta integration connects your Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and Meta Ad accounts to Butterflai through a secure OAuth login. No API keys or credentials to manage - just sign in with your Meta account.
How to connect
Go to Settings > Integrations and locate the Meta card.
Click Connect. You will be redirected to Meta's login page.
Sign in with the Meta account that manages your pages and ad accounts.
Grant the requested permissions.
You will be redirected back to Butterflai.
Selecting accounts to sync
After connecting, Butterflai discovers all accessible accounts and presents them in a multi-select panel organized by type:
Facebook Pages - select which pages to sync
Instagram Accounts - select which Instagram business/creator accounts to sync
Ad Accounts - select which Meta Ad accounts to sync
Choose the accounts relevant to your business and click Save & Sync. You can change this selection at any time - modifying it triggers a resync, and data from deselected accounts is removed.
What data syncs
Page Insights - reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth
Instagram Insights - reach, impressions, profile visits, follower demographics
Ad Performance - impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, cost metrics across campaigns and ad sets
