Date ranges, filters, and comparisons

Updated today

Date ranges control which time window your widgets display. Every widget in a report responds to the same date selection, so changing the range updates all KPIs simultaneously.

Predefined date shortcuts

Click the date range button at the top of your report. A calendar opens with built-in shortcuts:

  • Today - Current day only

  • Yesterday - Previous day

  • Last 7 days - Rolling week

  • Last 30 days - Rolling month (the default)

  • Last 90 days - Rolling quarter

  • This month - First of the current month to today

  • Last month - Full previous calendar month

  • This year - January 1 to today

  • Last year - Full previous calendar year

Select any shortcut to instantly apply it.

Custom date range

For a specific window, use the calendar picker to select exact start and end dates. Click your start date, then your end date, and the range is applied. The maximum date range is one year - this ensures charts remain readable and KPI calculations stay performant.

Comparing periods

Period comparison lets you see how a metric performed in one time window versus another. To add a comparison:

  1. Click + New Date Range next to the primary range.

  2. Select or configure the comparison period (e.g., previous month, same quarter last year).

  3. Click Refresh Data to apply.

Your widgets display both periods side by side. Line and area charts overlay the series; metric blocks show the delta. You can add multiple comparison ranges.

Origin Range

When you have multiple date ranges, one acts as the "origin" - the primary reference point. All other ranges are comparisons. To change which range is the origin:

  1. Click Origin Range.

  2. Select the range you want as the new reference point.

  3. Confirm the change.

The previous origin swaps position with the selected range.

Clearing filters

Click Clear Filters to reset back to the default 30-day window and remove all comparison ranges.
