Adding and configuring widgets

Updated today

Widgets are the visual building blocks of your reports. Each widget represents a single KPI, displayed as a chart or metric card. You decide what data to show, how to visualize it, and where it sits on your dashboard.

What is a widget

A widget is a card on your report that shows one KPI. It can appear as a metric block (a single number), a line chart, an area chart, a bar chart, a table, a scatter plot, or a pie chart. Each widget is tied to a specific data source and KPI.

Adding a widget

  1. Open a custom report.

  2. Click Add Widget (or Add Your First Widget if the report is empty).

  3. Fill in the widget form:

    • Title -- A descriptive name (e.g., "Monthly Revenue" or "Customer Acquisition Cost").

    • Description -- Optional. Describe what the KPI measures.

    • Data Source -- Select where the data comes from: Uploaded Files or a specific integration (Shopify, Meta, etc.).

    • Table -- Select the specific file or integration table.

    • KPI Name -- Choose from the list of AI-discovered KPIs, or type a custom KPI name.

    • Display Type -- Choose the visualization: Metric Block, Table, Line, Area, Bar, Scatter, or Pie.

  4. Click Create to add the widget to your report.

The widget is created and the AI calculates the KPI. This may take a few moments depending on the data volume.

Resizing and reordering widgets

To rearrange your dashboard layout:

  1. Click the Resize and Drag Widgets button to enter edit mode.

  2. Drag widgets to reorder them.

  3. Resize widgets by dragging their edges.

  4. Save your changes when done.

Regenerating a widget

If your underlying data has been updated (new sync, re-uploaded file), regenerate the widget to recalculate:

  1. Open the widget's action menu.

  2. Select Regenerate.

The KPI is recalculated with the latest data.

Editing and removing widgets

  • Edit: Open the widget action menu and select Edit. You can change the title, description, KPI, or display type.

  • Delete: Select Delete from the widget action menu. Confirm the deletion. This cannot be undone.
