Starting a conversation

Getting started with the Knowledge Agent takes seconds. Here is how to have your first conversation.

Open a new chat

Navigate to the Knowledge Agent from the sidebar. You will land on the new chat screen, which greets you with suggested prompts - expert-curated questions tailored to your connected integrations and business profile. Click any suggestion to send it immediately, or type your own question.

Type your question

Use the input field at the bottom of the screen. The placeholder reads "Ask me anything..." - and it means it. Type your question in natural language, whether in Greek or English. Press the send button or hit Enter.

Real-time streaming responses

The AI begins responding immediately. You will see the answer appear word by word in real time, so you do not have to wait for the full response to start reading. A typing animation indicates the AI is still working.

Ask follow-up questions

Each conversation maintains full context. You can ask follow-up questions without repeating background information. For example, after asking "What was our revenue last quarter?", you can follow up with "How does that compare to the same quarter last year?" - the AI knows you are still talking about revenue.

Suggested prompts to get started

If you are not sure what to ask, the new chat screen displays six prompt boxes with ready-made questions curated by industry experts. These suggestions are tailored to your business - they adapt based on the integrations you have connected and the platforms feeding data into Butterflai. Select any prompt to begin a conversation, then follow up with your own questions from there.
