Your first conversation with the AI

The Knowledge Agent is the fastest way to get answers from your business data. Here is how to have your first conversation.

Starting a new chat

Navigate to the Knowledge Agent section in the sidebar and select Chats. You will see the new chat screen with the prompt "How can I help you today?" along with several suggested conversation starters. You can click any of these to begin, or type your own question in the input field at the bottom of the screen, where it says "Ask me anything..."

What to ask

The AI works best with specific, business-relevant questions. Here are some examples to try:

  • "What were our top-selling products last month?"

  • "How did our Meta campaigns perform this quarter?"

  • "What is our customer acquisition cost trend over the past 6 months?"

  • "Summarize the key findings from the Q3 financial report I uploaded."

  • "Compare our Shopify revenue this month versus last month."

You can ask in Greek or English - the AI understands both natively.

How the AI finds its answers

When you ask a question, Butterflai searches across all your connected data sources and uploaded documents. If you have Shopify connected, it queries your sales data. If you have uploaded a financial report, it can reference specific figures from that document. If you have Meta or TikTok ads running, it can pull campaign performance metrics. The AI combines information from multiple sources when needed to give you a complete answer.

Understanding the response

Each AI response includes tools to verify what you are seeing. Look for the Source Files option to see which documents or data sources were used. The Tracing Log provides a detailed view of how the AI arrived at its answer - which queries it ran, which data it retrieved, and how it reasoned through the response. This transparency is central to how Butterflai works: every answer is auditable.

Saving a conversation

When you have a conversation worth keeping - a useful analysis, an important data point, or a recurring question - select Save from the chat menu. Saved conversations appear in the Saved section of the Knowledge Agent sidebar, where you can rename, reorder, or delete them as needed. This keeps your most valuable insights easily accessible.
