Butterflai is organized around a sidebar on the left side of the screen. Everything you need is accessible within a few clicks.
Main sections
The sidebar contains three primary sections, each with its own sub-pages:
Knowledge Agent - The AI chat interface. This is where you ask questions and get answers based on your data. Sub-sections include Chats (your active conversations), Group Chat (collaborative conversations with team members), and Saved (conversations you have bookmarked for future reference).
Business Dashboard - Your data visualization and reporting hub. Sub-sections include Overview (a summary of your connected KPIs and performance metrics), Custom Reports (reports you build yourself with specific widgets and charts), and Generated Reports (automated reports created from your uploaded data and integrations).
Document Library - Your file management center. Sub-sections include File Manager (all uploaded files), Trashed (deleted files awaiting permanent removal), Favorites (files you have starred), Shared with me (files shared by team members), Integration Files (files generated from your connected data sources), and File Permissions (access control settings).
Bottom of the sidebar
Below the main sections, you will find:
Notifications - System alerts, file upload statuses, integration sync updates, and report generation notifications.
Settings - Company profile, personal profile, user management, roles, integrations, notification preferences, and legal documents.
Profile menu - Shows who you are logged in as, with options to switch accounts or log out.
Upload progress
When you upload files, a progress indicator appears in the sidebar showing the number of files currently uploading and their status. You can continue working while files process in the background.
Dark mode
Butterflai supports dark mode. Toggle it from the sidebar to switch between light and dark themes based on your preference.
